KEA Boxing Promotion's recently signed Godson Noel improves his record to 5-0 with 4 knockouts after crushing his opponent Rodrigo Almeida last night. Almeida is now 1-3 after he got dropped by a devastating body shot that sent him down to the canvas in the first round at The Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA on a Murphy's Boxing Promotions show.

Noel, a southpaw and a super middleweight, is fighting out of Newark, NJ under the watchful training eye of Bo "The Fighting Fireman"James and manager Vinny Scolpino. Noel, now 31 had a professional record of 4-0 before signing with KEA Boxing Promotions. President Andre Kut stated he "wanted to get Noel in the ring right away since he has not fought since February of this year..."and says "we want to keep him busy and fighting on a regular basis." The super middleweight division is wide open right now and we hope to have climb up in the ranks really quick." Noel has had a long layoff from the ring once before when he made his pro debut back in 2012 only fighting once and then two more times in 2013 and only once earlier this year.

Noel has been a police officer, and also served in the Army and is an Iraqi War Veteran. He currently is a fireman for the city of Newark in New Jersey. He was inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame as an Amateur in 2011 as Co-Amateur boxer of the year. He was 21-1 as an amateur, losing only in the nationals after he won the Diamond Gloves.
